A resume is a brief summary of your abilities, education, experience, and skills. Its main task is to convince prospective employers to contact you. Your goal is to structure your resumé so that the person reading it is intrigued and impressed enough to want to talk to you. A carefully prepared resume can be a tangible asset to job seeking - poorly prepared, it can be a serious liability.
