Machine Operator – Plastics Industry

Our client, a fast growing leader in the Plastics industry, is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join their growing team.   This is a full-time, permanent role.

Position:  Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating a blow molding machine to mold products according to specifications
• Mold changes
• Material purging
• Performing mold setup and processing control to finished part
• Monitoring Production processes and maintain continual operation of conforming product
• Conducting quality control by diverting non-conforming product to regrind
• General housekeeping of workspace
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Experience with our specific machines is not required, a mechanical aptitude is.
• General knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, solenoid heater bands, parison controller and PLC system
• Experience in a plastic manufacturing facility
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a machine operator role
• Able to perform processing to finished product
