Forklift Operator- Food Industry

Our Client, a company in the Food Industry, is looking for a Fork Lift Operator to add to their warehouse.  This is a long term permanent role offering a day shift.

Hourly Rate:  $20.00/hr – $21.50
Shift:  Days
Location:  Markham / Scarborough Area

Responsibilities include:

• Forklift Operator will Operate Material Handling Equipment; Dock Stocker, Walkie, Reach Truck
• Loading and Shipping all orders in a timely and safe manner
• Confirm shipment contents with documentation
• Complete documentation
• Complete daily receiving logs
• Complete paperwork and ship packages
• Document and control material flow of controlled goods
• Receiving from suppliers, perform inspections of goods received, and route material to correct locations
• Inventory; cycle counting, FIFO
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area
• Other duties within the shipping/receiving area

Qualifications: Experience

• 2 years Shipping/Receiving Experience
• 2 years Forklift Experience

• Written and Oral communication
• General Computer Skills
• Multi-Tasking
