Recruitment Consultant

At Smart Staff Solutions, we are looking for an experienced and professional Recruiter to join our growing team!  As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates for open positions. Your goal will be to always meet clients’ needs by finding candidates that match their organizational culture and open job positions.

The Role:

We are looking for a Recruiter with full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and presenting great Candidates to our Clients.  You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, job engines, and our large internal database.

Compensation:  Salary + Commission available

Responsibilities:

• Source qualified candidates for technical and manufacturing positions
• Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Maintain candidate and applicant files for people applying for positions 
• Recruiting and following up with a high volume of applicants
• Develop and update job descriptions / job specifications and post jobs to appropriate job boards

• 3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience in manufacturing
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS), Bullhorn ATS/CRM an asset
• Experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include: recruitment strategies and Boolean searches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc)
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment using proven time management skills and working with a strong sense of urgency
